India is all set to witness decade's first solar eclipse which has been classified as annular solar eclipse popularly known as Ring of Fire.

We are all expectantly waiting for the Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse on Sunday i.e. 21 June, 2020. It will be breathtakingly annular (almost 99% coverage) in a belt in North India and partial in various percentages in the rest of the country.

The ongoing solar eclipse will be visible in places like Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Haryana, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Shimla, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Jammu, Kolkata, and more
The solar eclipse started from around 9 am across India.
The annular solar eclipse will start from 9.15 am in India and will be visible until 3.04 pm.
The peak eclipse will occur at 12.10 pm. The eclipse will be visible from most parts of Asia, Africa, the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, parts of Europe and Australia.
This is the first solar eclipse of the year, and the next one will be taking place on December 14, 2020.
According to Nehru Planetarium, Bhuj will be the first to witness the start of the eclipse from 9.58 am. The eclipse will end four hours later at 2.29 pm.
A ring of fire will be seen for approximately 30 seconds during the peak eclipse phase across a corridor running through Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttarakhand.
The year 2020's annular solar eclipse is happening on June 21. The eclipse dims the sky around the world and creates a 'ring of fire,' which can be observed within a narrow geographic corridor sweeping from Central Africa all the way into the Pacific Ocean.
